At Bishop Stopford School, wellbeing is at the heart of the student experience.
Our Intent is that they:
- realise their unique potential
- have highly productive relationships
- have a strong sense of identity and belonging
- understand their individual worth
- are happy and healthy
- are creative, self regulating and resilient.
Wellbeing is fostered through strong community cohesion, participation in community events and the taught curriculum.
We encourage students to identify their emotions and recognise when they need extra support. In school they can speak to:
- their Form Tutor
- their Head of Year
- another trusted adult
- the Chaplain
- a Student Ambassador
They can also ask for an appointment with:
- the school counsellor (Youthworks)
- the school nurse
- Souster Youth
- MHST
Wellbeing resources are available from the Head of Year office.
