Bishop Stopford School

I'm really proud of myself to be at this school. My favourite subjects are Art, PE, Spanish and Drama but all my subjects are great. All the students and staff are welcoming and friendly. Our school is a kind community. I always feel safe at school, the clubs are amazing (and free) and the Olive Grove's food is amazing! It's a brilliant place to be at my school, it really is!

Bishop Stopford School is more than just academic studies. The clubs and activities open up amazing opportunities to make new friends and discover your strengths. As a Student Ambassador I am part of the supportive environment which the school creates to make sure each student enjoys their time here. I had the opportunity to go to the Isles of Scilly in Year 8. It sounded like an incredible trip and it definitely exceeded expectations. The trip strengthened by bond with my friends and even forged new friendships. I would encourage anyone who has the chance to go, they take it. I made incredible memories that last a lifetime.

I really appreciate the staff, my friends and sporting opportunities at our school. All teachers really do make lessons enjoyable. And all my friends make school a great community, making sure no one is left out. What I've found really useful through my Mocks and leading up to GCSE exams is the help from all teachers from the interventions to the 1:1s discussing where I could improve. It's been a real help to me. The teachers here provide ample sporting opportunities trying as hard as they can to manage and or officiate helping us enjoy our time even more at Bishop Stopford.
