We have a long and enviable track record of success in providing for a wide range of needs. This includes enabling students to progress successfully to the next stages of their education. Some of the most common learning difficulties or disabilities include:
- Autistic Spectrum Conditions
- Visual Impairment
- Hearing Impairment
- Dyslexia
- Dyspraxia
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
- Emotional, Social and Mental Health Difficulties
Our provision is in line with expectations of mainstream schools as detailed in the NCC local offer.
When considering admitting a student with SEND, discussions are held with the student's family and their previous school. If a student has an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), the Local Authority will be involved to ascertain the suitability or otherwise of the provision (not all needs can always be met through mainstream provision).
