Sir Isaac Newton Science Lecture

On the 9th October, ten Year 10 and 11 students took part in the Sir Isaac Newton Science lecture at the RAF base near Sleaford.

The lecture was given by Jim Al-Kalili, the author of eleven books consisting of topics such as time travel, black holes and nanotechnology. The primary focus of this specific lecture however, was the technology of the future encompassing the topics of quantum bioengineering, gene editing and time travel.

Al-Kalili's talk opened our minds to the possibilities of the technology we will develop within our lifetime. With the concepts of time travel, parallel universes, wormholes and other planets alike to our own, who knows how our technology may develop in the future?
