Open Events
Open Mornings - Monday 7th, Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th October 2024, 9.45am – 11.45am
You are welcome to attend with your child. We will begin with presentations, and you will then be able to see a normal school day in progress, visiting Key Stage 3 lessons and touring our site with students. All places must be booked for the Open Morning - please click here to book your place. You will receive email confirmation within 3 working days.
Open Evening - Thursday 10th October 2024
You will be able to spend time in each subject area and take part in activities, as well as talk to students and staff. The Headteacher’s presentation will be given at 5:45pm and repeated at 6:30pm.
Parking
We can only accommodate disabled visitors’ parking on our school site for Open Events. However, we provide a complementary bus service on Open Evening from the Cornmarket car park on London Road (Postcode NN15 7QA). It will run every 20 minutes from 5.10pm and throughout the evening. We strongly recommend all visitors use this service or walk to ensure the Headlands does not become unsafe. The Kettering Fire Station is next door to our school, therefore a clear access route is critical.
Please note: The Headteacher’s presentation on Open Mornings will be repeated on the Open Evening. If you attend both events, you will not need to attend the presentation for a second time, leaving you more time to look around our school.
Application Process
If you choose to apply, please remember that you have two application forms to complete:
1. North Northants Council Application Form (which can be found on the NNC Website)
2. Supplementary Information (A1) Application Form which can be downloaded below. This form must be completed and returned to Bishop Stopford School. Please ensure that a receipt is obtained.
Applications to join Year 7 in September 2025 must be received by the school by 5pm on Thursday 31 October 2024. All applications received after this date will be treated as late applications. It is strongly advised that you talk to your faith leader before completing your Supplementary Information (A1) Application Form.

School Place Allocations
Information about school allocated places for September 2025 will be sent out by the Local Authority on Monday 3 March 2025. If you have not been allocated a place at Bishop Stopford School at this time, you have the right to appeal against this decision. Please click here for further information.
