Gymnastics

Congratulations to Josie Crick 7C, who recently participated in a gymnastics competition. She is now the County Champion on the Bars and also won a silver medal on the vault.

Cheerleading

Our congratulations also go to Alice Kennedy 10Y, on her amazing achievement last week when her cheerleading team competed in an international competition in Liverpool. They not only won their category, but also achieved the highest score in their division and were awarded Grand Champions. They were also awarded with an invitation to compete at the World Championships next year in Florida! Alice and her sister, are also competing again in an international competition in a couple of weeks. We wish them both continued success.

Judo

Well done to Oliver Reading (7C) who has been selected by British Judo to compete at the National Teams Championships in Cardiff. He will be representing the Midlands and competing against teams from every region in the UK. Each team consists of Pre-Cadets (which Oliver is), Cadets and Seniors. There is only one representative for each weight category within these groups, so it is an amazing achievement for Oliver to be selected.

RFU Leaders Award

Congratulations to the following students who have recently undertaken and successfully completed the RFU Level 1 Leaders Award for Tag Rugby. This consisted of three after school sessions which developed their leadership, officiating, communication and whistle blowing skills through the medium of Tag Rugby.
