Spanish Cooking Competition

Hola estudiantes!

As Year 8 Spanish students are currently learning about food and eating habits, I have set a competition to award the chefs of Bishop Stopford School—from any year group.

The competition is called ‘Cooking Food from Spanish Speaking countries’. The aim is to prepare a dish from Spain or Latin America and send the pictures to

I have already received a few pictures from students who have done an amazing job:

Luke Betts (8C) cooked a delicious Spanish omelette.

Oliver Haseldine (8P) made a Tarta De Santiago. This tart originated from Galicia in North-Western Spain during the time of medieval pilgrimage, and is traditionally decorated with the St James cross.

Buen trabajo y que aproveche!
