Remote Learning and "Catch Up" Provisions

As you may be aware, the DfE have instructed all schools and colleges to publish details of their Remote Learning Provision on their school website by Monday 25th January 2021.

Following the latest guidance around the efficacy of remote learning, including a recent report by the OFSTED Research team, the provision at Bishop Stopford is a blend of synchronous and asynchronous approaches. It includes live lessons, structured power points and pre-recorded materials, independent tasks and engagement with online learning platforms such as Oak Academy, GCSE Pod, Bedrock and Seneca Learning.

Full details of our provision can be accessed via the School Information tab on our website alongside some detailed information around the school’s plans for utilising the Catch-Up Premium.

The Catch-Up Premium is a funding allocation for the 2020-21 academic year to ensure that schools have the support they need to help all pupils make up for lost teaching time.
