Corona Virus Latest Update

Following the Covid-19 restrictions, the school remains closed for the foreseeable future except for those students already identified as vulnerable or children of key workers. From 15th June, some Year 10 students will also be attending school. See the school's risk assessment for students in school.

Please see a useful parents' guide to the Coronavirus and Coping with School Closure. There is also a useful article about how parents can support learning at home on the ParentKind website.

Children of key workers who are attending school during the Coronavirus closure period wanted to pay tribute to the NHS and produced the poster below. #StayHomeSaveLives #NHSheroes #UnsungHeroes

Many of our students who are working at home have also produced some very impressive work. Grace Maud in Year 9 has written this excellent essay for RE. Year 7 students Ella Clark and Ruby Peartree have been singing in Christ alone during lockdown.

All of our staff are working from home, apart from two who are acting as carers. They cannot respond to telephone messages or visitors to site.

If you need to contact school, please refer to the Contacts page on our website for the email address of the most appropriate person. Thank you for your forbearance. Everyone’s safety is our priority.

Students who need help to logon to Firefly from home should download the following guide.

For those students who were to undertake A Levels and GCSEs, the government has announced further details (update on 3rd April 2020) of how grades will be awarded this summer.

We will update this page daily and will use email and InTouch for more substantial messages for parents and students.
