A Level Geography NEA Launch Days

We would like to thank our A level Geography students for the focus, determination and hard work which they exhibited during our recent NEA Launch days on Friday 11th and Monday 14th December 2020.

The students used the opportunity to hone their fieldwork and investigative skills to prepare for their own personal geographical studies to complete their A level Geography coursework.

This included emotional mapping of areas in Kettering, recording decibel readings to illustrate the effects of transport routes, as well as mapping the effects of air quality on biodiversity within our local area.

Students fully engaged in all aspects of their learning and embraced the opportunity to learn new skills.

We would also like to thank our teaching staff for their support and our GCSE Geography classes who illustrated fantastic motivation and independent learning skills during the two days.

Well done from Mrs Harvey, Mrs Lal and Miss Whitehead
